Claudia began developing her teaching experience in Mexico, working in several school settings before joining CCLS Houston. As a native Spanish speaker, she brings both linguistic knowledge and cultural perspective to the classroom, creating a collaborative environment where students feel comfortable participating and practicing.
Her background in information technology complements her work as an educator, encouraging her to explore different tools and approaches to support each student’s learning. Currently enrolled in an advanced Italian program, Claudia continues to examine the connections between Romance languages while gaining a deeper understanding of the language-learning experience.
Outside the classroom, Claudia enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Together, they raise butterflies and moths and have created a butterfly-friendly garden at home—an activity that reflects her appreciation for nature, patience, and continuous growth.
