John is an English instructor from the United States who has taught English as a Second Language since 2011. He has worked in both public and private schools with adult learners at every proficiency level, from beginner to advanced. His teaching experience includes grammar, reading, writing, pronunciation, and accent reduction.
Having lived in southern Mexico and studied Spanish there, John understands firsthand the experience of adapting to another culture and learning a new language. This perspective helps him approach the challenges his students face with patience and empathy.
John holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Northern Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication from DePaul University. He also holds an A+ Teacher Certification.
