Nadia, a native Spanish speaker, has dedicated 15 years to teaching Spanish professionally. Her expertise is rooted in her academic achievements, specializing in Linguistics, Latin American Literature, and Teaching foreign languages during her undergraduate and graduate studies.
She developed her passion for teaching her language while working as a teaching assistant during her last year of college in her native Mexico. Among her duties was providing lessons to non-native Spanish-speaking students. Soon, she realized how rewarding it was to share her language and culture with them. It was the beginning of a long path as a Spanish Teacher, first at language schools and then as a Lecturer at the college level.
She has experience designing whole Spanish courses and providing lessons all levels, from beginners to advanced. For several years, she has also taught Spanish Phonetics and Phonology, which allowed her to know firsthand the students' needs in terms of pronunciation. She eventually transformed this knowledge into activities oriented to polish students' oral performance.
While not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading History books, writing, and traveling.
