Javier is an experienced educator from Bogotá, Colombia, with over 15 years in public education. Throughout his career, he has taught across all grade levels, held leadership roles, and served as a university instructor, building a strong foundation in both pedagogy and academic leadership.

He currently teaches AP Spanish Language and AP Spanish Literature at a college preparatory school in Houston, where he is dedicated to developing students’ linguistic proficiency and critical thinking skills at an advanced level.

Javier is pursuing doctoral studies in Educational Sciences at the National University of La Plata, Argentina. He holds a Master’s degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language (Lengua Castellana).

Passionate about reading and transformative education, he is committed to designing meaningful learning experiences that challenge students and help them grow beyond expectations.
